Freshwater Fly Fishing:

Do you love fishing with a fly rod and seeing each fish strike the lure.  Do you want to learn the art of fly fishing for freshwater fish?  This adventure will have you set up in a fish ready boat and the name of the game will be action on.  You will be using several types of local made floating flies, popping flies, and some sinking flies like Zonker, Leech and Woolly Bugger  as the day progresses. Bass and sunfish will be the catch of the day. 

Rates:

  • Beginner – $35/hour
  • Individual – $40/hour
  • Group of 2 – $50/hour
  • Minimum 4 hours
  • Fishing equipment and tackle furnished on request.
  • Guests are responsible for ALL lost or damage equipment.
  • Guests are responsible for own fishing license and meals and Housing.

NOTE:  The above rates do not include State fishing license, food and housing or fish cleaning. 

Need help on finding lodging, restaurants, trailer parks, just ask, and 
we can help you with all your needs while you are in our area.

There is a $100.00 deposit required for each trip reservation. Please check with Fishing-With-Dennis Backwater Adventures to make sure your date is available before you send in your deposit.

Cancellation Policy:   
You must notify Fishing-With-Dennis Backwater Adventures at least ten (10) days before your reserved date of the cancellation to receive your deposit.  If inclement weather conditions cause the trip to be postponed or cancelled, then there is no deposit charge.  Inclement weather cancellations can only be decided by Fishing-With-Dennis Backwater Adventures


Bluegill/Sunfish on the Fly

If you have every wanted to take up fly fishing for bluegill/Sunfish we here at Backwater Adventures would like to help you do that.

We can help you get started; you don’t half to have any equipment we will supply the fly rod and flies to teach you how to cast and work the flies.

Locations for the lessons will take place on one of these lakes, Pines, Lake Gilmer & Big Cypress River.
